November 16 "And It Happened" Acts 9:3

It happened!!!  One moment you are breathing threats against God and what He has done or maybe you are not even thinking any God in your life.  Acts 9:3---and then it happens:  Paul was breathing murderous threats.  He did not want this God around.  Oh my.  My threats were not murderous, they were just villainous.  I wanted to dwell in this life.  I wanted to be so alive in this life.  Be somebody who made a mark for good and for great.  So I tried it all.  When I was 25, then it happened.  And I've never been the same person.  I'm not the same person I was yesterday. That's amazing.  Beautiful God!  "There is no more significant moment in history than this present moment."  Bonhoeffer.  So, live every moment as though it were the only one you have, it is!

PRAYER FROM PSALM
Psalm 50:2 - Perfect in Beauty are You, O God, the God Who stirs in us all.  Stir in us, this day, and make us the people You created us to be.

  1. A life transformed...Saul is no longer breathing murderous thoughts, no longer persecuting believers; he is now sold out to Jesus - a slave to Christ Jesus.

Father God, I ask You to remove any scales from our eyes that are blinding us and prohibiting us from seeing You in any way. In Jesus' Name I pray.

  2. Saul transformed to Paul. Peter preaches to Gentile Cornelius. The Holy Spirit is not just for Jewish converts. Peter loses a prejudice. Paul loses a hatred. Love fills hearts. Jesus transforms lives.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

May be someday before we go to heaven we can hug each other's earthly necks. Love you and your heart so dearly. Your words bless me every day.
