Nada Nada Nada Nada Nada Nada
And, If I reach the summit ...
Nada
The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows,Yet they turned back in the day of battle. Psalm 78:9
They forgot God.
They continued to sin.
2000 years later
And we are no different.
Equipped with the armor of God.
Put on the full armor of God.
Yet, turning back in battle.
And a very Good God rescues us.
Draws us near to Him.
In the book, The Impact of God,
John had a ministry to 60 sisters in Beas.
Sounds different.
He wrote a card to each one.
He sketched a mountain with wide paths leading to deadends.
Sketched only one narrow path going directly to the summit.
On this central narrow path is the word 'nada.'
Nothing!
It is repeated all the way up---nada, nada, nada, nada, nada.
All the way up to the broad, spacious, sunkissed summit.
Nada.
Jesus asks for everything and believes He is worth such a price.
To come to what you are not,
You must go by a way where you are not.
[Excerpt taken from The Impact of God.
Encounter.
Equipped.
PRAYER FROM PSALMS
God, my days are but a handbreath; my age is as nothing before You.
Every man at his best state is altogether vanity.
LORD, make me to know mine end,
and the measure of my days,
that I may know how frail I really am.
That I may know You more.
Psalm 37:4-5
In the time of battle do I use the equipment provided by the Lord and stay close to Him or do I run from it?
