"Grand Demand is Love" Exodus 20-21; Matthew 19
God* spoke all these words, saying, “I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
“You shall have no other gods before me." No other place in this Word do we have God speak like He did in the 10 Commandments. The grand demand of this word is love.
"Moses approached the thick darkness where God was."
What sort of thick darkness must this have been to hide the radiant light of God, especially since light dispels the darkness? Oh well, a question to ponder.
My prayer today: LORD, please do not hide yourself from me. Cleanse me with your purifying light. Remove the thick darkness around me.
