October 20 "Speak the Word of God" Acts 13-15

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles:
“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth."
When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.  Acts 13:46-48

Peter has found something that he didn't have yesterday.  A boldness.  A confidence.  A look.  A hope.  A vision.  He is not the same guy he was in the garden.  What changed?  He had been with Christ the whole time.  I keep thinking about how he wept "bitterly."  He sowed sweet terrible tears for his sin.  He cannot live the same anymore.  May it be so for each of us.

DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE ME IN MY 10,000 MOMENTS.  May I speak the Word of God.  May I honor the Word of the Lord.  May we find this kind of waxing bold.  May we not stay where we are today because of this Word of God.
