Elisha speaks his last words to Joash.
Joash takes them so lightly that he misses God's best for his country, himself.
May we never take lightly the Word of the Lord.
And may we understand a little deeper the beautiful mystery within each of us. The Lord's Power. So much so that when Elisha died, a marauding band threw a castaway into his open grave. Upon touching the corpse of Elisha, the man revived and stood. 2 Kings 13:21.
COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Come Lord Jesus into our needy lives this day. May we see that this Victory of which You have won is for me for this moment. May I press in deep to You, our Hope, our Mighty Warrior, our Providence. Our everything!

Dear Pearls, should have written this yesterday but my head is having trouble catching up with the rest of me which is going ever so slowly. My blood work came back, but did not know the results til Thursday. Now, my sodium levels in my blood is too low to be put to sleep! White count was okay. So now a new problem to be talked about and discussed and taken care of. Hit a low point on Thursday. Now it appears that I have no idea if I will get to go to TX to see my daughter and family. We do make our plans but He is the One who determinds were and when we go, IF I have to wait till Christmas time to see them, so be it.....and IF not that will be the icing on the cake. Plus, I am very weak and tired. Three years ago the AFib did not make me quite this tired. Bless you for all of your prayers. He is Sovereign and He is working behind the scenes in my life and He is working all thing for my good and conforming me to His image. I pray you all are having a great fourth of July week end.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, I will pray for you to regain strength.
ReplyDeleteOh that's rough, Mary Lou! I'm praying for your returned good health, sodium levels to normalize, and a trip to see your daughter very soon!
