July 6 "Consider Your Ways" 2 Kings 14, 2 Chronicles 25

Amaziah did what was right in the sight of the Lord.
Except.
Not like his father, David.
He put limits on his obedience.  I will do all of this but these other things.  I just can't.
Do we do the same?
Haggai 1:5 is a verse I read today.  "Consider your ways."  You reaped much but harvested little.  You have so much to eat and drink but never enough.  For man's eyes are never satisfied.  And sometimes we just have to lean in deeper trust.
Consider your ways today.
What stirs deep within your soul.
It's the condition of your soul that matters.

COME BOLDY:  Timeless Prayers
Oh Father!  Life isn't about what happens to us but all about what we do with our God-given calling.  Help us to find You in the midst of our struggles.  Help us today to consider our ways.
