Read with me cover-to-cover in 2025. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2025 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

HEB 3:15 "Today!" (October 27)
“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. Hebrews 3:15
Whew! A lot of judgment in today's verses in Jeremiah--because of pride, because of disobedience.
A lot of "Listen to Me" warnings from the Lord, too.
It's days like this with passages that are somewhat disjointed in circumstance but united in theme that make me like and dislike this Old Testament/New Testament reading style all at the same time.
I want to know more of the story, but really it's not the storyline that we need to know. It's the message God has for His people. And it's just as relevant today as it was all those years ago:
Listen. Don't be arrogant. Hear My Words and follow me. Don't let your heart grow cold and hard. Protect it with My Love. Fill your wineskins with the new Wine of Life. Drink from My Spirit. Believe and enter His rest.
May we each one keep on encouraging those around us each day to focus on the Lord and what He would have us do about anything and everything affecting our lives.
God's message is so relevant to us today, He was warning them through Jeremiah, but is He not warning us through Jeremiah too? We too need to watch our hearts and keep them soft to His word and His touch and His leadings and not turn to the world for our guidance on how to handle the matters that plague our daily lives. His plumb line is so straight and true. He will never fail us in the way He speaks to us and leads us, IF we will listen and obey. We truly only have this moment for we do not know what the future holds, though we do know the One who holds the future.
