September 27 "Fallen or Redeemed" Zephaniah 3:17-18

Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Zephaniah 3:17-18
On what do I truly place my hope?
Recognition.
Self Worth.
Acceptance.
Blessing.
Success in Family Life, Ministry Life, Community Life.
I can say all I want about following God
but what stirs in me reveals either
my fallenness or my redemption.
Come, Lord Jesus!
Come!

PRAYER FROM PSALMS
Psalm 51:6 - May the Truth sink way down deep in my heart that You have brought me to this place where I am.  I trust whether I see what I want to see or not.  May Your Truth become my Reality.

  1. Those words sink deep into my heart, Bev! "May Your Truth become my Reality." Let it be so, Lord! For each Pearl that seeks you today and each day.

"The Lord your God is in your midst,
    A victorious warrior.
He will exult over you with joy,
He will [ah]be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy."
