How do you trust God's Hand
when you cannot see His fingerprints anywhere in the sea of circumstances?
Jonah just found God in his sea with no prints.
Are we looking for the right things?
Seems our society is so busy looking for value, recognition, affirmation.
Our God is offering Real Hope not Self Worth.
Nahum 1:7 ~
The Lord is Good,
A Stronghold in the Day of Trouble,
And He knows those who Take Refuge in Him!!!
He knows you.
And there is a Beautiful Thought that I rarely hear from
anywhere in life. It's from Martin Luther:
" 'You have not yet considered the weightiness of sin.'
The self-serving energy behind what bothers you today,
ruling so often in the church & actively present in you,
is a far greater offense to God than to you.
Only when you see the source of your hassles as
a greater insult to God than to you will you rest in God's Plan
to deal with it." 66LL
God moves by His Holy Love.
He is more committed to me and my holiness than
I have ever imagined. He is a Good God.
PRAYER FROM PSALMS
Psalm 145:18 Thank You, God, that you are near
to all who call on You in Truth.
May we deal with the weightiness of our sin.
Thank you for carrying us and
loving us "as is."

That quote from Martin Luther is so timely, Bev. Just last night as I was trying to recount my day, I felt the words form "I'm not taking this sin forgiveness seriously enough." I turned from apathetic to grateful almost immediately. And the weightiness of a sin-sick soul lifted. If I wait just a bit longer on God in prayer, I sense His turning my heart toward Him, away from the burden of guilt or apathy, alive toward the depths of His goodness and mercy. And ready for another go and another day.
