July 27 "Enlighten Our Eyes" Song of Solomon 8:10

No more significant hour than this present moment.
To find Rest.
To find Peace.
To Worship our Maker.
Who plants us by His Written Word.
Song of Solomon 8:10 ~ I became in His Eyes as one who finds peace.  Am I looking for peace in this world, a slice or even a sliver of happiness here?  It's all illusions!  The only true happiness in life is found in Him, the only True Rest.

"I love you.  I delight in you.  I will do whatever it takes for you to enter into the exquisite, life-defining pleasure of the communion My Son and I enjoy.  I invite you into the feast of love."  66LL

We have heard from the prophets trying to wake us up.  We've heard from Job in deep suffering. We've heard from Solomon, a wealth of wisdom.  Now, God is awakening, stirring, arousing the desires He has put in our hearts to know Him fully, in abundance.  He is providing Hope that we will be satisfied. Otherwise, apart from Him, we will live in hell---maybe not in this world, but the next one.

God is inviting me to so much more even in the midst of pain.  All these Scriptures we read---they did not know the Savior, only a promise.  We have Him now.  Let us all stand in awe of the Hope we have in Him that He will continue to draw us to Himself.  Finding a little more rest this day than I have ever known before----how?  Through repentance and worship and reality.

May God's Word become "the joy and rejoicing of my heart."  Jeremiah 15:16

PRAYER FROM PSALM
Psalm 19:8 Father, May your Word enlighten our eyes this morning!  More than anything else!

  1. A big storm rolled in last night and shut down our internet. Back on. However! I am sitting in a terrific storm in Waco right now.

I am wondering if I have ever read the Bible!!!!!!! This is all so fresh, so new to me. In the midst of all of our pain, God is awakening, inviting, offering so much more.

Thank you all so much for joining us. There's not a day that goes by that I don't come here and am greatly moved and encouraged. God offers me hope through each of you.

  2. We are not waiting for God's love to arrive in the form of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, we have Him. I pray we receive the love He freely lavishes on us and the wholeness it brings.
