July 13 "No Formulas, It's Faith" Proverbs 3:27

This is where I sat tonight as I read these chapters about life

May we grasp these words of wisdom and

the Truth sink into deep places.

Three Beautiful Words open the Book of Proverbs:

Righteousness, Justice and Equity. Proverbs 1:3

So what is the point here?

We cannot read this book as a manual for living.

There are no formulas for living.

Walk with God and you will live right.

"The Wisdom I offer you is the wisdom by which I made the world, what little of it you can receive. I made life to work only if lived according to My Design." 66LL.

Been thinking about t.h.i.s. for a while:

What pours out of us will be like God if we are walking with Him.
We don't have to strive to do the right things,

If we are not striving to live right, what pours out will not be God.

What's the motivation? Formulas or Faith?

“But he who listens to me shall live securely and will be at ease from the dread of evil.”
One thought I will hold as I reflect on these passages is this:
"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,

When it is in your power to do it. Proverbs 3:27.

May we strive to do right for the right reasons.

May He pour out of our broken hearts

PRAYER FROM PSALMS
Proverbs 2:11 May Discretion guard our children.
May Understanding watch over them.
To deliver them from those who leave the paths of uprightness.
Their friends, their family.
And for each of us. Proverbs 3:3-4
Help us not to let Kindness and Truth leave us.
Help us not lean on our own understanding of things.
We acknowledge you. Make our paths straight.
And, Oh, Proverbs 3:25:
Help us not to be afraid of sudden fear.
You are Our Confidence.
You will keep us from being caught.

  1. Help Annette! Tried and tried (while we were broken down on side of road in Hamilton---dead battery) to undo the formatting. Won't work. I don't care if you delete it. I have it saved in a Word Document and I can do another pic too. See if you can fix it. When I went to save it, it posted about 20 times in Blogger---you'll see. I tried to delete them as they are all Drafts but to no avail. Oh well, I am going to bed! No formulas here! Just Love!!! PS - We did make it to FW ---1am!!! Yikes. About 4 hours later than expected. And we won't miss the wedding!

    1. Oh I missed this...sorry for how hard it's been to get these posts posted! (I was babysitting overnight.) And I agree with Mary Lou--no apologies needed. You are VERY much appreciated here. So faithful and generous with your time...

  2. Finally just got it to remove formatting after trying multiple times. I think the Personal Hotspot that I am on is weaker than Wi-Fi. Sorry for the problem.

    1. You have NO need to apologize. Technology is a blessing and a curse. You do so much to share with us and to bless us, there is NOT one person who reads your words from Him that would be upset with you one iota. And IF there is sad to say they have the problem. Love you..
