Over 31,000 verses in the Bible and tonight I will share with my daughter Acts 17:26-27, a verse that God placed on my heart on the day she was born August 28, 1983. "And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us."
That verse was on her birth announcement. And God placed it on her heart just last week. So, I'll share with her this night how God has determined her dwelling places that she may seek Him---and she has.
May we all, this day and always, feel our way in our darkness and find Him. Actually, He says He is not far from you today!
Bev, out of the overflow of your heart, your words tap into deep places. That He ordained in 1983 that your morning reading on a Thursday before Brooke's wedding would be her life verse selected on her birth announcement. He is so thoughtful toward our fragile hearts.
ReplyDeleteHis Timing is beyond perfect--it's profound and so touching. He loves to show us how He cares for the details, how He cares for our souls and the moments that make up our days!
"In Him," safely in the confines of His strong Arms, "we live and move and have our (very) being!"
"He is not (never) far from each one of us" (Acts 17:27b) What a verse to hold on to, to praise Him for!
