July 20 "His Heart Is Not With You" Proverbs 22-23

“Eat and drink,” he says to you, but his heart is not with you." Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinks in his heart, so is he in his actions. This chapter warns against luxury, sensuality, and indulgence. Take care to listen to your life. As a person thinks in his heart, "so will he look" and give to you this: You are not welcome here. And you lose the sweet words you have already spoken. Take care who is with you. Let go who is not.
