June 12 "Repent of the Rhetoric of Providence" Job 38-39

Brace yourself, Job.  God is going to speak  Job had been silenced by his friends. Job had silenced his friends but not convincingly. But now, God asks Job the questions about His fierce creation.  God shows Job his ignorance from earth to sky to sea.  God is calling for Job to repent of his rhetoric about God's providential dealings with Job.  And these words, Deut 32:47, they are no idle words.  The works and words of His Providence can never be broken.  The work of redemption is even firmer.  Christ is both the Foundation and the Cornerstone.  So, what does that mean for me this day?
