The Israelites crossed the Jordan and it required their trust to walk through the waters. They didn't have to battle anyone there. But once in this Promised Land, the battles began. Never mistake the enemies in Canaan in these chapters for only the things that are wrong in the world around you. 66LL. I've just been in Haiti---there is much wrong in the world there.
