Joseph allowed Judah to speak on and on, even though Joseph knew what had really happened. Then, he draws them to himself. All the markings of a beautiful repentance on Joseph's part. "It was not you who sent me here, but God." Genesis 45:8. The Providential hand of God. Ad the perseverance of Joseph in the midst of loss, imprisonment, and betrayal. Joseph never lost heart. May we see all what happens in our lives as from God.

ReplyDeleteThere was a time in my past where all my STUFF meant nothing to me because of the loss of my family. I need always to be loosely tied to my stuff. Family is what is important. That is the lesson here too.
My prayer today:
LORD, help me to be content and grateful for the THINGS that you have given me. Help me to rejoice in the presence of my FAMILY.
