Dear Family, When do we pray? When we are in big trouble. Jonah knew God wasn't happy with him but he prayed. "When we are in affliction, we must pray." Matthew Henry. It's a safe place that no one can interrupt. Henry goes on to say that God kept Jonah alive by a miracle and he prayed, even from the belly of a whale. We can never be stopped from communication with God. "Notice the Hand of God in [them] your troubles." Jonah reflected on how God heard and answered him, even in his distress over what God was doing. May we not miss the Grace of God passing by us all today. Jonah 2:8
