Dear Friends, Doesn't matter the rhyme or reason for distress. We are called people. And we will find ourselves in unexplainable circumstances. Know this. God will provide.
"So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide." Gen 22:14. The place where he went to worship with a knife behind his back.
What troubles you?
The faith of Abraham always washes over me when I read this passage. His faith, obedience, and ability to hear the Lord, all of which are vital to our walk with God.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine being in Rebekah's shoes. Leaving with strangers to meet and marry a stranger. I always find these words so tender: So Isaac was comforted after his mother's death. No matter our situation, the Lord provides comfort, we must receive it which can be hard to do at times.
