January 27 "Doubtful Dilemmas" Exodus 28-29

“Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision" for those really doubtful cases. Exo 28:29.  And in any of our doubtful dilemmas today, we can know the will of God. Amazing. "The high priest had the names of the tribes both on his shoulders and on his breast, noting both the power and the love with which our Lord Jesus intercedes for us."  M. Henry. The Name above all Names should be so near to our lips, heart first, since He is pleased to engrave our names on the palms of His Hands and lay them over His Heart.

  1. Powerful words: I will reside among the Israelites, and I will be their God, 46 and they will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out from the land of Egypt, so that I may reside among them. I am the Lord their God.

As I read today's passage, I could not help but jump to the Cross. I am so thankful we are saved, redeemed, and can approach God directly and boldly in prayer through Jesus Christ.
