Read with me cover-to-cover. 2020. Share what I've learned in the dark, in the light. Start the Old & on January 1st. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the "axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts" (66LL) in our hearts. My focus this year is sharing what God has done for me over the years---and trusting God to weave every single day. And I will offer a prayer over your life, every single day.

January 16 "Better to be a Credit than a Shame" Genesis 46-47
My Dear Ones, Sometimes God's promises move slow in fulfillment. It has been 215 years since God promised Abraham that he would make him a great nation. God is working in your lives. Let God work. Joseph didn't force anything on his brothers who contrived to dispose of him; now Joseph contrives to settle each one into work and a home and a life. Gen 46:28. An honest living---"it is better to be the credit of a mean post than the shame of a high one." And that quote from Matthew Henry makes me want to live well where I am, anonymity. Returning good for evil. May that be the mantra of our lives. I'm so touched by Barrett never wanting to throw anyone "under the bus." Changes the way I do things. Return good for evil!
PHOTO: Barrett, the way you treat people touches me deeply. Loyal.
