God awakened you this new year, this new shiny day. And there's never been another day like this one. And you are brand new. Yes, you are a little bit different than yesterday and tomorrow. God has drawn a measuring line. He is the Backdrop for this upcoming sovereign year. His footing holds this world and your story is sure. And the morning stars sing Job 38:7. I feel unsure about what's to come and all we can do is lean in hard. Sometimes, I'm like Peter cutting off an ear of a soldier---messy lives. Yet, let the Light shine in our darkness. God hovers like a baby bird over "that thing." The Spirit of God moved and the darkness dispersed. May our dark crevices be flooded this year with shimmering Light that changes everything.

Happy New Year Pearls. As I read today's passage, I think of heaven on earth. Though we live in a sinful and fallen world, through Jesus we have a glimpse of Eden every day. I pray we draw closer to the Lord each day through His Word, prayer, and worship.

ReplyDeleteThis year will be good! Filled with Him. He fills dark empty voids. He hovers over the expanse. He sees. He pronounces it good. Love and JOY to you, Bev, even in these uncertain days. May you find all your acceptance in HIM and enjoy His Peace amid the chaos this year will bring. People are flawed if they judge. That is their stuff, not yours. Suffering will only occur if you wear their stuff. Rest in Him, my sweet friend.
