September 21 "Rend Your Heart" Joel 1-3

A day gone by.

And I sat as low as Jonah and Jeremiah and Judah

in the worst of times.

And I bowed in prayer.

Alone, so alone.

And I opened the Bible random.

Pointed my finger on a flying page.

To this Motion of God.

Rend my heart is what He said.

Then, and now.

This very day.

He is always sending forth His Word.
We shall know His Presence
in the midst of all these locusts.
And we shall not be ashamed
at what He does, allows, ordains.
Joel 3:17

"Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate."

Joel 2:20

"I will repay you for the years the locust have eaten."
