"Put on as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved,
a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance." Col 3:12
"Obey in all things those over you, not just when they are looking,
but in singleness of heart" Col 3:22
"Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord,
that you fulfill it" Col 4:1
"Let the peace of God rule your heart." Col 3:15
"Let the Word of God dwell in you richly." Col 3:16
Does this Word dwell well with me?
We all hear the Word, know the Word, speak the Word,
but it dwells poorly in too many.
It dwells with such little Power.
May This Word have power over our lives.
COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Dear God, That touches a chord deep within. May this Word of God that I read every day of my life---may it dwell in me richly. May our soul prosper when we are full of Your Word. III John 1:2 - May all go well with all we face---even as our soul is getting along well.

Prayed every day this semester for these students I teach. From Genesis to Revelation. Today, I prayed III John 1:2 that it may all go well with them. That their soul may be getting along well. And it so fits with this reading. May we all be full of the Word---dwelling richly in me. And tomorrow is Revelation 1:20---help us all open that door wide when we hear Your Voice. Today. Forever.
