March 7 "Falling. Fully. Following." Numbers 28-30

"He shall not break his word." Numbers 30:2.  Every word that comes out must be true.  I caught a few words that slipped today.  Not accurate.  No laws here though.  Grace for the lips.

No man can do it well before a Holy God.  They stayed on the wilderness path for four decades.  May your time be short in following fully a Holy God.  Where do I need to repent, turn around, forsake, lay down?

"They refused to walk the narrow road of belief that welcomes exposure of failure and conflict, knowing that God has a plan to overcome them."  God righted our wrongs once and for all.  And now forever.  Always righting our wrongs.  Always drawing us to Himself.

COME BOLDLY:  Timeless Prayers
We do come boldly broken this beautiful day of yours, O God.  Thank you for exposing us for who we are----Whose we are.  Fully Yours, this day and forward.  Falling.  Fully.  Following.

PHOTO:  I looked over this city and wept.  How much more God looks over our world and weeps.  May we find Him

  1. It's good to set aside some special days to make offerings and pray. Seasons such as Lent can be a time of renewal and self examination. But it's important to remember God wants our daily attention, and not just a few times a year to remember Him.

Lord, renew us daily and set us apart for You. Purify our hearts. Help us to remember You in every move, every action that our whole lives may be our offering to You.

An Offering (Lessons from a Tree) ~author unknown

If Thou canst make so wonderful
    This thrilling thing—a tree,
I wonder, Lord, what Thou couldst make
    If man should yield to Thee;

    If every time earth-born root
Drank from the wells of God,
If all day long his every breath
    Answered Thy slighted not?

    Bent, twisted, gnarled, time-eaten,
But a glorious thing this tree,
    With hands and heart uplifted
    Seeking the face of Thee!

O Thou who made s wondrous fair
    This trilling thing, my tree,
Because its every hour is lived
    an offering unto Thee,

Oh, take me, root and branch and all - The years go on apace!
Grow up in me that radiant life - That shines, Lord, from Thy face!

  2. Love the part about drinking from the wells of God.
