March 5 "Far Too Easily Pleased" Numbers 23-25

"Didn't I tell you up front when you sent your emissaries, 'Even if Balak gave me his palace stuffed with silver and gold, I couldn't do anything on my own, whether good or bad, that went against God's command?'"

Balaam takes a deep look inside.  God has opened his eyes to see that his path was truly a wreckless one.

C.S. Lewis says it well:  "We are far too easily pleased."  May we settle for nothing less this day, this circumstance, whatever is against the command of our God.  Pride.  Ambition.  Lust. Envy.  May we let God deal with the fray of our hearts.

COME BOLDLY:  Timeless Prayers
Father, help us today to realize that we cannot do anything on our own!

  1. Balaam set his eyes on the wilderness and spoke the Lord's words. The Lord can use us when we set our eyes on Him and speak His words. May our words bless and never curse.

  2. Are any of you reading or hearing any word on the upcoming tetred of lunar eclipses that correspond with the Feasts of the Passover and Tabernacles, 2014, 2015? It is fascinating and scary at the same time. People get ready. Jesus is coming soon. May our hearts be found ready, closely tethered to Him, looking for our every next move.
