Heb 12:6 "Drooping Hands" (November 7)

It can be a lonely city ~ but it doesnt have to be. Lam. 1:1 ... Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith...

  1. Prov. 15:23 "how delightful is a timely word."

If you don't do anything else, read Hebrews 12 today! It will encourage and renew your heart.

I woke feeling heavy and frankly, fearful for our country's future, for God's people, for my family, my grandchildren especially.

    Then, I read:

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart...

the Lord disciplines the one he loves...

    Endure hardship as discipline...

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile...

See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks...

We are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

His Word is medicine for my soul.

    Carry on!

  2. Praise God. He is still on His throne. Our only hope has always and will always been in Him. Praying for the future of our country and those who do not know Him. So many lost souls who truly have NO hope. The government was not meant to save them but to protect them and it's not going to be doing it's job. May what has been meant for evil be used for good by our great God. This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice in it. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  3. Annette,
    And carry on---you all will.
    Of this I am sure,
    the devil has no foothold
    in your life.
