Psalm 8:4 and John 7:38 "Mindful of Me" (May 21)

What flows out of me?  I cannot verbalize the fathom of the depth of my dilemma.

All I know is this---I have the holy privilege every moment of choosing ravishing repentance before my Holy God, Who will never let go of me.  So grateful to the One Who is mindful of little me, Psalm 8:4.

John 7:38 ~ Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”  We all have to ask:  What is flowing out of us.  I do not really know.  But, there is Something so different about my life and how I can now let go of the guilt that once encompassed, entrapped, enslaved.

This I know.
The evil within me is real.
The God within me is so much Greater.
The wrestled guilt no longer holds any power over me.

  1. I love the verse about the rivers of living water flowing out of our hearts. I am such a water person, I live on a lake, listen to the gentle waves at night through my screen door as I sleep, I think of floating on the waves whenever I get overwhelmed by life.
This river of life, flowing from our hearts is a powerful force. It has the power to change everyone we come in contact with. It is changing me!

  2. Flow...Living...Water!
Who is man that You are mindful of him? Giving him a hope, an eternity to look forward to, and a today that is manageable with His Grace?

I woke up this morning with a prayer on my heart. I need grace to make it through this day. I need an infusion of His Living Water. I come to the Throne a little more hungry due to a sin-sick soul, and He not only provides a filling of His Spirit, but One that can flow out of me.

Praising Him with Psalm 8 this morning:
    "O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

  3. I just can't fathom it, but am ever so thankful that "He is mindful of me, that He cares for me". I wrongly think that when things/circumstances are bad, He no longer cares. Forgive me and fill me with Your Living Water! Majestic is Your Name!!!
