Rev 3:2 "Wake Up!" (December 12)

Sardis, I know your works.

You have the reputation of being alive but you are dead

WAKE UP! ~ Rev. 3:2

Philadelphia, I have set before you an Open Door

which no man is able to shut.

You may have little power yet you have kept my word.

HOLD FAST!  Rev 3:8

Laodicea - You are neither hot or cold.

Those whom I love, I discipline.

SO BE ZEALOUS!  Rev 3:15

Behold, I stand at your door and knock this day.

If you hear Me, Welcome the Divine One in.

This verse is translated in progressive tense meaning:

This is for you this moment.

"In the whole of World History, there is always only one

really significant hour---the present."    Dietrich Bonhoeffer

  1. Hey Ang, You probably haven't missed anything. I haven't said too much. My oncologist found two tumors. Prognosis looks good; Diagnosis unavailable! They decided not to biopsy but surgeon is moving it from back burner to front. Will let you all know when I know more. I am so "taken" by God, so "grasped" by Him that what stirs in my soul is what matters to Him. Health of my soul trumps health of my body. Easy to say, what to do. Holding fast. Thanks for asking. 2. I don't know why this didn't post. Still trying to get used to the new blogger. Even our school's management program upgraded today (the week of finals) and it is cumbersome to maneuver like blogger. Thanks for your patience. They picked a busy time to initiate a change.

  3. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. . . He who has an ear, let him hear"

For some reason, as I read this earlier, I got tears in my eyes. The intimacy of the Gentle Savior coming inside me to dine, to commune together. . .I am so unworthy but not to Him. Such mercy and Grace.

And then, this time, The Word says if you even have one ear, listen.

Do you hear the Savior's call? Behold, He comes.

  5. wow...He comes...those are awesome words and another two He is able. He is coming and He is able to do wonderful, magnificent thing beyond our comprehension. His coming borders on not being able to comprehend. I believe it.....just not sure what it entails. Oh, that He invites us in to sup with Him, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords....oh, makes me feel so unworthy.
