260 - "Lay Your Badge Down; Do Not Deputize Your World" Psalm 142-144

That path is oh-so-narrow!

When my spirit is overwhelmed within me,

You know my Path,

In the way where I Walk.

Look.

There is no one who regards me.

I am not validated in what I do.

No escape for me.

No one cares for my soul.

You are my Refuge, my Portion.

Bring me out.

Psalm 142: 3-6

Give ear to my voice, O God.

May my prayer be counted as incense

Before You.

The lifting up of my hands

An Evening Offering.

Set a Guard over my mouth.

Keep Watch over the Door of my Lips.

Do not incline my heart to any evil thing.

Let the righteous smite me in kindness & reprove me.

It is oil upon my head.

Do not let my head refuse it.

For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds.

When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me. Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. Psalm 142:3-4 It's true. They treated David as invisible. What do we do with this? Do we deputize our world? Lay the badge down. Even in this culture. Charlie Kirk was murdered this week. A collective shock fills the nation. Doesn't depend which side of the carpet you are on. It was evil and intentional. Catch! Not everyone agrees on his life lived for christ and the Gospel. Lay your badge down, Bev. Charlie Kirk is in the arms of his Savior. God have mercy on our country.
