356 - “The Morning Star Arises” 2 Peter 1-3

Live. Love. Long for this Morning Star, this Light shining in our Darkness.
The law discovers our disease but leaves us there.  No cure in the law.  But these promises.  They are sure.  They are true.  We celebrate Christmas, a baby born who is the Savior of the world.  The cure for our sin-sick soul.  Pay attention to this prophetic word made sure.  A lamp shining in a dark place "until the day dawns and the Morning Star arises in your hearts."  2 Peter 1:19.  Beside ourselves, if we truly see this Light displacing our darkness.  Live it, love it, long for it.  He is coming again to dispel all the darkness.  Forever.  So, pay attention to this lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns.  Until, today, this day, this Morning Star arises a little more than yesterday.  And if in any way, we know not what to do.  Turn to these Promises in faith.  The Lord knows how to rescue you from whatever you face today. 2 Peter 2:9.  Big or small in your book. Light comes.  Arise, O Morning Star!

It's a Promise. We are partakers of a Divine nature. Turn all these promises into prayers for the transforming grace.

Peter writes still another book to further add how grace and peace can be multiplied in our lives---through the knowledge of God and through the believing in Him! So, let's live by 2 Peter 1:13---let's refresh your memory.

Peter wrote this letter to stimulate those who read it to wholesome thinking.  Make every effort to be found at peace with Him.  Every effort.  2 Peter 3:14.  "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."  2 Peter 3:18.

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 2 Peter 5:6-7

Stand firm in the true grace.

Make every effort to be at peace with God. 2 Peter 3:14

Recall the words of the prophets. 2 Peter 3:2.
