November 3 "He Is Here" Luke 24:31

We sat by this tree.
Luke 24:31 -Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.
Something happened to me tonight that could only be God. He sent a couple of college kids to our table as we dined by the trailers, just Bob and me. The guy wanted to know if there was Something or nothing in life. He was searching. We talked for an hour. Big Bang. Evolution. Dreams & Meditation. The kid said it was healthy how we let him ask questions. Loved him. Think we will meet again. He didn't want us to be certain of anything. Oh, but I am. This I know.
I know Whom I have believed and will trust. More certain than ever and more questions than ever. Such a privilege to talk with another human being on what life is about. I love these couple of kids. May we all have eyes wide open to recognize Him. He is here today.

  1. Ah, one of those God moments. A providential meeting. What a blessing, Bev. So thankful that your eyes were open and you saw God show up and had answers for the young men. May we all have our eyes wide open every day so that we may see God in those around us and in the things around us. The circumstances in our lives and each incident in our lives we can see God, IF our eyes are open and we are looking for Him. From the rising of the sun, to the smile of a child to a prayer request from some one out of the blue. Even asking a server how may we pray for you when we pray over our food, we make a habit of that and you can be blessed over and over by some of the requests...gives you an insight in to their soul and to all of the hurting people out there, who are hungry for someone to pray for them or to share the words of life. Blessings on everyone's worship today.

  3. Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he began praising God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent.” - The centurion began praising God...May I ever praise His holy name...
