There will be boundless joy, One Day.
Grief will be banished forever.
Tears will be wiped away, no place.
Isaiah 25:8
Therefore, live with sorrow patiently, kindly.
He is coming to remove that sorrow, that shame.
May we have no forgetfulness of what, of Whom we Await.
"Live with your final destination in view." Paul David Tripp
Tripp says that we sometimes live with functional eternity amnesia.
We forget where we are actually going, the day we live for.
"Behold, this is our God for Whom we have waited that He might save us."

How sweet to read these words this morning, upon hearing that our friend and fellow servant, Juan Hernandez died this morning at 4 a.m. He lived these words, he testified with every breath of his all-too-short life that this world was not his Home. And now, the pain, the dark, the struggle is over.
ReplyDeletePlease pray for Mirella, his wife, and his boys Joshua (23)Adriel(16) Ezra(15). Ezra is especially vulnerable and has struggled these past months a lot.
He gave God all the glory. Amen, now to his life, to his well-run race.
Thanks for the update on Juan. I will pray for Mirella, Joshua and Ezra. I enjoyed the photos of your ranch and remember the sweet weekend we spent there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jan!
ReplyDeleteOh, Annette, there are just no words to write about what has happened this day. A beautiful servant leader went home. Will pray for Juan's family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you and Mike!
