Samuel didn't know about Good Friday.
He trusted that a Savior would come to his help.
Come Quickly Sunday.
Come Quickly LORD Jesus.
Samuel called for Saul and says: I am going to tell you something from God. Samuel anointed Saul as the next king. "Do for yourself what the occasion requires, for God is with you. I Samuel 10:7.
Saul was a Benjamite. He couldn't believe that Samuel would favor him and give him this calling.
"Then it happened"---I Samuel 10:9---when he turned his back to leave Samuel, God changed his heart; and all those signs came about on that day. The Spirit blows whichever way He desires. We cannot plan all the right things to happen. We cannot control those moments. We wait in faith, with expectant hope for our God to break through on our behalf. For His Glory. Come Quickly, LORD Jesus. This Good Friday, may it happen, may "it happen" that we find our place, repent deeply of our maneuvers, and surrender to Him.

Well, I said I would post every time I composed. And then, THIS one didn't post last night. You would think I was a newbie to this blogger thing. Actually, I was going on 3 hours sleep from the night before due to a project at work and a MacBookPro learning curve. I LOST THE PROJECT and had to re-create it. Didn't know you couldn't leave a page on Outlook or it wouldn't save. Yesterday, was logistics nightmare for me. Lost the document. Lost my new I-phone charger. Lost my new I-pad charger. Locked car keys in my husband's car---twice! nO WoNDdeR I couldn't post this! I went to a piano recital and went to BED to start over again with no phone chargers. Help me! Anybody know where to get i-phone 5 chargers cheap?
