March 10 "Your Strength Equals This Event" Deut 33:25

Oh my! God's Word Deeply Touches this heart of mine.  This day.  These events.  Your strength is equal to your day. This event. Why have I never seen that verse before---Deut 33:25.  These are the words of Moses, a song that sinks deep in our storied lives. "Let my teaching drop as the rain, distill as the dew, quenching this thirst of my needy heart."  Deut 32:2.  There is no other God like this God of Israel!  Every single day of our lives He supports us, undergirds us with His Everlasting Arms.  He rides across the heavens to help us in these events we face this day.  Not to punish.  Thank you God for deeply caring, undergirding, carrying us, all the days of our lives.

PRAYER FROM PSALMS
Praise the LORD, for each day He carries us in His Arms. Psalm 68:19

OVERVIEW:  Deuteronomy 32-33

  1. Personalize the verse, Deut. 33:12 May the beloved (Mary Lou) of the LORD dwell in security by Him, Who shields him (Mary Lou) all day, and he(Mary Lou)dwells between His shoulders. I collect Hummels, and I found one that is of a shepherd carrying a lamb across his shoulders....I bought it to visualize this verse. Beautiful words, beautiful thought to carry us through this day and every day.

  2. His Word moves me so. When we get to this day when Moses says goodbye with blessings for the tribes just as a father gives a blessing to each son, my heart aches in love for this man of God. Not idle words, indeed, but our life! These are my favorite verses in the Old Testament as they stir my heart so much for our Lord.

  4. Moses didn't think he could speak, I say there is no way to improve upon his words:

“For I proclaim the name of the Lord; Ascribe greatness to our God! “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

May the enemies of Israel come to know our Lord, the Defender of Israel before it is too late.

“Blessed are you, O Israel; Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, Who is the shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! So your enemies will cringe before you, And you will tread upon their high places.”
