April 25 ... II Kings 12 - 14
I cannot get a post up this morning. Won't let me post. I'll keep trying.
Few of the Kings of Israel were called "good", and in today's reading in the message bible, several of the kings we read about are described as "As far as God was concerned he lived an evil life"....and those kings did not get rid of the evil shrines and idols of the nation. And yet, God still used them to defeat their enemies and led HIS PEOPLE.
It takes courage and strength to stand firm in our convictions, and confront wrong doings in the face of opposition. I'm encouraged today to take a firm attack on the wrong and uphold what is right.
