You have a Counselor! Keep His Word! Don't love the world.

"He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." 1 John 4. Two groups: those in the world and those who are of God. John writes not to the mass of humanity but to the community of sinful humanity united in walking with God. Children, we will face spiritual darkness from those in our community---and we have---but the One inside of us is always Greater. Always.
What remains in you?
"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." 3 John 1:2
It's such a beautiful thought---that your soul is getting along well.
Not your circumstances.
Your very soul.
And do not imitate what is evil,
but what is good.
Imitate it.
Act like it.
And may it be well with your soul.
