Here is a prophet whose life is threatened because he brought the Word to them.
Jer 46:14 Do with me what is good and right in your sight. And God will change His Mind for you. What a beautiful response from Jeremiah. They wanted to kill him!
Jer 46:24 But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not given into the hands of the people to put him to death. Oh to be so other-centered. Used by God as His Hands. This life. Even with those who disconnect distance and disrespect us.
