"Do Not Pass Me By" Genesis 18-19, Matthew 6:1-16

And The Lord appeared to Abraham who was waiting, sitting at the folded entrance of his tent. Waiting for passersby to entertain them.  Three divine visitors approach his tent.  And these 3 are sent by Jehovah. Gen 18:1.  They come with such familiarity.  Will I recognize God passing by?

Do not pass me by.
I remember when I learned that I had cancer.  I took a long walk down the Town Lake Trail and hiked up onto the pedestrian bridge.  I spilled a few tears in the water below.  But more than anything, I had such a strong sense that God would not pass me by without filling this empty soul first.  He did.  And I sang that song all the way home.
Do not pass me by.
