July 17 "Timely Word" Proverbs 13-15

How good is a timely word. Proverbs 15:23 And a man has joy from the answer of his own mouth. So, when others ask for advice, and you give speech seasoned with grace, and it is acceptable to your friend, such is a word of promise spoken and applied by the Spirit of God to heart of the one in need. Such is "the Gospel of peace, pardon, righteousness, and salvation, as spoken by Christ and his ministers to weary and wounded souls." It cannot be expressed how seet, how good, how seasonable, it is. Awakened by God this morning. Wake my ears to hear. Give me the tongue of the learned. Isaiah 50:4
