Things happen in this life. We cannot control circumstances, people, events, you-name-it. So, what do we do when the feelings of rejection overwhelm us? God tells us right here. Meditate on all those things He has done for you. Go back to the places in the Word where He has been true and left no footprints in the sea.
“Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again?
Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”
