Then David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is very great, but do not let me fall into the hand of man.” I Chronicles 21:13. The compassion of God is boundless. The vengeance of man is full of limits, full of bounds. But our Gracious God in heaven, His Hand know exactly the kind of discipline we need and as far as the extent: He regulates in His Merciful Hands.
