April 20 "Humbled Himself in His Sin" I Kings 21-22

A vegetable garden.

This whole story is over a vegetable patch.

Ahab wanted Naboth's plot so much.

His Jezebel wife plotted to kill Naboth and servants carried it out.

Along comes Elijah with the word.

You have bought into evil, Ahab.

And Ahab responds with great humility.  In fact:

“Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”

God is always watching, waiting for us to turn to Him.  I hope his children turn to Him.
