Hannah prayed from her heart. I Samuel 1:13. The Biblical Illustrator says it so beautifully: Hannah possessed a force of soul which lifted her above trouble. Many hide their tears in attic solitude. Not Hannah. She obtained aid from Heaven at the Shiloh's Porch. Her troubles intensified her prayers. (Joseph Exell). Her home life was lived as her temple life---in worship of her King. When Hannah finished praying, she stood in faith and said, "no more." God has already moved. May we cry from our hearts not from our beds. May our lips never stop moving to pray and may our world never be the same because of the whispers.
