October 24 "My Hope is in my Ancestors' Words" Acts 25-27

Dear Kids, "Now, it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors, that I am on trial today."  Acts 26:6.

What is my hope in?  My problems getting solved.  My circumstances changing.  Someone recognizing my worth in my job, my ministry, my social world.  If I could fill in the blanks:  My hope for today is _________ .  I hope this year ends soon.  I hope I receive something from this.  I hope things turn out all right.  And.... all my hope is in this world.
What about my hope in what my ancestors were promised?
