Dear Children,
The Hebrews were strangely fond of the law. Paul wrote to "wean" them from the law. May we never live to change our behavior to that which is good----that's just behavior modification. May we confess, conform, converse, commune with a holy dependence. Draw near to God. Nothing else worth it.
"I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." Hebrews 10:16
So, "let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings ... let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:22-23.
"So, do not throw away your confidence ... you need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised." Hebrews 10:35
