Read with me cover-to-cover. I'll share what I've learned in the dark, in the light. Start the Old & New Testament on January 1st. About 3 chapters per day through whole New Testament. About 10 minutes of your day. Join us as the "axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts" (66LL) in our hearts. My focus this year is sharing what God has done for me over the years---and trusting God to weave every single day. And I will offer a prayer over your life, every single day.

July 23 "The Ebb and Flow of My Life" Ecclesiastes 1-4
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
This broken world we live in, full of hate for the blue line today, is repassing through the racial discrimination in which I grew up. The days of Ruby and Rosa. And our lives ebb and flow. Solomon writes this book in his older days, unlike the young writings of Proverbs. Matthew Henry writes in his commentary that "every change concerning us, with the time and season of it, is unalterably fixed and determined by a Supreme Power, and we must take things as they come, for it is not in our power to change what is appointed for us...We live in a world of changes. When we are in prosperity we must live easy, yet not secure because the lowest valley may join that highest mountain. Be easy. Be advised. Enjoy the good of your labor---Barrett does. Bob does. Lauren does. In humble dependence upon God and His Providence. Neither lifted up with opes, nor cast down with fears, but with evenness of mind expecting every event." Because they will come.
