Dear Kids, What do you want out of life? I Kings 3:5 intrigued me. God asked Solomon in a dream: “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” I Kings 3:5. And you know what he asked for: a discerning heart. He wanted to do right by people. And it so pleased God that he asked for something not for himself but for others---to lead them well, do them right, build them up. May we leave behind us a trail of other-mindedness and be more absorbed in others than we are in ourselves.
