January 31 "Move With God" Exodus 39-40

Dear Children, The tabernacle is finished.  Five months.  Servant laborers.  And Moses thanks each one.  Not only does he praise them, he prays for them and blesses them.  And as we close this month's chapter, I pray for each of you.  You will never really know how much you mean to me.  Especially after this week.  When you face your own mortality, things shift.  I've covered a bit of ground in life and you will too.  In all the travels of the Israelites, when the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they moved.  If the cloud didn't lift, they didn't set out.   By day.  By night.  Oh, may we not move unless God moves us.  Exo 40:37.

  1. But when the cloud was lifted up from the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out on all their journeys; but if the cloud was not lifted up, then they would not journey further until the day it was lifted up. For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, but fire would be on it at night, in plain view of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

He never leaves us or forsakes us. If we no longer feel His presence or we feel far from Him, we moved without Him. Maybe we headed the right direction but we sped ahead of His timing, maybe we stepped off the path He laid out for us.

If you feel far from Him, seek Him - He is waiting for you.
