December 4 "A Quiet Life" I Timothy 2, 3, 4

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  I Tim 2:2

Paul whispers to Timothy to practice four kinds of prayers for all men.  His message sits in the context of the greatest foundational truths ever---Christ came to deliver us from ourselves.  Paul  spoke forward future to the now 7, 385, 473, 766 people alive on this planet.  A tall task to love all men in our stories.

"Now the once whispered word peals like the voice of many waters and mighty thunderings over the whole Church of God.”  Ellicott Commentary.

DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE ME IN MY 10,000 MOMENTS TO BE A woman of prayer.  Help me to understand what it truly means to live a peaceful and quiet life, unaffected by the troubles from without.
