October 30 "More Than Meets The Eye" Romans 11-12

Our plans to find happiness cannot be harnessed in this world.  We are just passing through.  We live for another country.  If we live for this one, we will never find true rest on this earth.

"I urge you, dear brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship.  And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed..."

"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Rom 12:11-12.  May we be found on our faces before the God of all Graces.

Present yourselves to God.  One commentary said that "present" implies a happy and joyful and glad willingness to offer all of me to Him.  It's not like the Greek word "surrender" that implies a measure of reluctance cause we are not "all in."  Present with gladness.  Here I am, Lord!  What is it that I want more than God?

DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE ME IN 10,000 MOMENTS OF FINDING YOU and finding real happiness.  The shift from doctrine to daily life.  What happens when I truly live out today what I truly believe?
